Knickerbocker & Ghostly International

12.10.2018

Ghostly International is a music and art company supporting work of high quality, integrity, and individuality. A company we are truly proud to partner with.

Knickerbocker's owner, Andrew Livingston, first came across Ghostly International by way of his downstairs neighbor and fellow artist John DeCola. John is good friends with Shigeto, a progressive artist out of Detroit and part of the Ghostly label. Now this wasn't how the collaboration came about, however it is a nice anecdotal introduction as you deconstruct the partnership that has since formed and just how inevitable it is that the like-minded find each other.

Eight years later by way of mutual friends and running in similar circles, Knickerbocker would come to know Ghostly on a more personal level. While we push a different image and product altogether, there is still a common thread that envelops the community's we have both worked hard to create. Building up our community and bringing people together by way of products we are passionate about is what we believe collaborations are all about.

For this release with Ghostly we opted for our Worker Coat & Watch Cap. Two classic products we have always had variations of in our product selection. True to Ghostly style, we produced them in black with hits of Ghostly's signature purple color and logo. The Worker Coat is made up of a herringbone cotton twill and features tortoise shell buttons along with an inside back print. The Watch Cap is a variation of our own, made slightly longer in length to offer a more suitable look for both the guys and the ladies.

The items from this collection are available exclusively through Ghostly International.
